What do you specialize in recruiting, and what types of roles/industries do you love working with most?
Sales and account management roles. Usually within transportation, equipment, and technical spaces. However, MT Talent has really allowed me to explore other industries such as food which has been super interesting!
What’s your “recruitment superpower”?
Building great relationships with my candidates. We will almost certainly find something in common to bond over.
What role do you secretly love filling or selling the most?
I secretly love filling the purple unicorn roles. Where you think to yourself “I’m not sure this person exists”, and lo and behold, I find them!
What does a great candidate or client experience look like to you?
When everyone wins, communication and timelines are transparent, and when it feels like the perfect match at the right time.
What’s one thing people are often surprised to learn about recruitment?
People would be surprised at how much thought, planning, and consistent work is put-in to headhunt the right candidate. Setbacks can happen for reasons totally out of your control, and you still must keep going. It’s also very similar to sales. You must sell both the company to the candidate and vice versa.
What’s your go-to way to recharge outside of work?
Eating good food (home cooked or out at a restaurant), trying to hit new PRs with my lifts, and exploring new activities around Toronto.

I love a good cappuccino.
Cats, dogs, or “I’ll pet anything”?
I have a soft spot for dogs, especially Pugs and Frenchies!
