Why do you choose to work in recruitment?
I love working in recruitment for so many reasons! I'm a very relational person, so building connections with hiring managers and candidates is something I love. I take a lot of pride and fulfillment in changing someone's life by connecting them to job opportunities. It could be a better salary, closer commute, a better culture, the next step up in their career path... I also love supporting client's business operations by bringing the right talent to an organization. It's gratifying to be the one that brings those pieces together.
What are your areas of specialty within recruitment?
My niche is Engineering and Construction verticals as well as Executive Recruitment.
What is the worst job you ever had OR the worst interview experience you ever had as a candidate?
I had a data-entry role early career where I learned very quickly that I am NOT someone who can sit and do repetitive tasks all day!
Favourite activity outside of work?
Gym and Yoga!
Favourite animal and why.
Dog, of course. They are full of personality and the best companion.
Favourite ban/singer/genre of music. Country music is my go-to, but also depends on how I'm feeling and what I'm doing.
