What do you specialize in recruiting, and what types of roles/industries do you love working with most?
I specialize in all things engineering - IT, Manufacturing, Construction, it doesn't matter. These can be highly technical such as AI Architects, or non-technical such as AEs who are supported by Sales Engineers and Solutions Architects.
What’s your “recruitment superpower”?
I'm able to connect with my clients by approaching them in a consultative, non-transactional manner where we are able to build trust relatively quickly because I make them feel like we are in a partnership and they are not just another number.
What role do you secretly love filling the most?
Highly technical engineering roles. Even though they can take longer to fill, when you do it fill it feels amazing because these candidates tend to be very passive and harder to find.
What does a great candidate or client experience look like to you?
To me a great client experience is where I have the opportunity to make the hiring of a new candidate as seamless and pain free as possible. This means fully understanding what they are looking for in a candidate so that we are able to get the right candidate over the first time around (this can only be done by developing a solid relationship with the hiring manager) and ideally have the candidate fully locked down so that when an offer does come through, they are ready to accept.
What’s one thing people are often surprised to learn about recruitment?
How high the highs are and how low the lows can be.
What’s your go-to way to recharge outside of work?
Take my dogs for a long walk through the preserve that surrounds my neighborhood.
Coffee order of choice?
Caramel latte - the largest they have - hot or iced doesn't matter.
Cats, dogs, or “I’ll pet anything”?
I'll pet anything.
Go-to hype song? Sandstorm - Darude

One thing you could talk about for hours? Sports and music.
