What do you specialize in recruiting, and what types of roles/industries do you love working with most?
I recruit sales reps and executives who are either ready for their next move or looking for that real step up in their career. Most of my work is with companies in industrial distribution, PPE & Safety, and Foodservice - so yes, I spend a lot of time talking shop about margins, territories, and quotas.
What’s your “recruitment superpower”?
Coming from a sales background, connecting with people has always felt like my superpower. Since I work closely with clients hiring sales talent, I like to think game recognizes game - I enjoy finding people who are being underutilized or held back and connecting them with organizations that actually give them the tools to reach their potential.
What role do you secretly love filling or selling the most?
Honestly, I have a soft spot for junior sales roles. It’s incredibly rewarding helping young professionals break into the field and pairing them with clients who will give them the experience and knowledge to build a real career - the same kind of opportunity I was lucky to get early on.
What does a great candidate or client experience look like to you?
The best hiring experiences happen when candidates and clients move in harmony. Clients are excited but selective, looking for the right mix of skills and cultural fit, while communicating openly and giving honest feedback along the way. Candidates, in turn, are treated with respect, kept informed throughout the process, and feel genuinely supported from start to finish.
What’s one thing people are often surprised to learn about recruitment?
I think one thing that surprises people about recruitment is just how widespread and important the industry really is. Not everyone immediately sees the value of having a trusted recruitment partner who can connect them with strong talent that may never have known about their opportunity otherwise. Sometimes it honestly feels like we’re secret agents working behind the scenes and many people don’t realize how big an impact the industry actually has.
What’s your go-to way to recharge outside of work?
Outside of work, the lake is my happy place. I try to spend as much time outdoors as possible - exploring new spots, enjoying power sports, and making the most of time with friends and family.
Coffee order of choice?
Easy. if I’m feeling a little bougie, it’s a large flat white with almond milk. If I’m going through a drive-through, give me a large coffee, two creams, and one sugar.
Cats, dogs, or “I’ll pet anything”?
Dogs all day
Go-to hype song?
Remember The Name - Fort Minor
One thing you could talk about for hours?
Snowmobiling and golf - just be careful what you wish for if you get me talking about either of those.
