As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the Finance team by managing customer invoicing, account reconciliations, and collections. Your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and manage invoicing – Generate weekly/monthly invoices, including chargebacks and service fees.
- Maintain customer accounts – Set up accounts, process changes, credits, and adjustments.
- Cash application and reconciliation – Post payments, reconcile accounts, and ensure accurate cash application.
- Monitor and collect receivables – Track AR aging, follow up with customers/vendors, and support collections.
- Support month-end close – Assist with journal entries, accruals, reporting, and documentation.
- Drive process improvements – Collaborate cross-functionally and identify opportunities to streamline AR workflows.
- 2+ years in a junior/intermediate accounting role
- Solid grasp of accounting principles and practices
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
- Effective communicator and team player
- Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Sage 300, Dynamics, Oracle) and advanced Excel
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
