For over 70 years, our client has provided best in class water, wastewater, transportation, energy, environment and facilities solutions and as they grow in the Canadian market, they are looking to add a dynamic Client/Proposal Leader
to their Greater Toronto Area operations.
The Client/Proposal Leader
will play a key role in driving client engagement and business development. This role is an opportunity to contribute to transformative municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects while playing a key part in shaping long-term investment strategies.
What you will do in the role:
- Develop and execute client engagement and business development strategies for water, wastewater, and environmental projects.
- Align business strategies with local market needs and growth objectives.
- Lead and manage project teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Drive proposal efforts, including technical approaches and presentations.
- Represent the organization through active involvement in industry groups and events.
- Manage project financial performance and oversee business development budgets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering (or a related field).
- Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng) registration is required.
- 15+ years of experience in water and wastewater projects (Water Treatment Facilities within Canada)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
- A collaborative, entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen and emotional intelligence.
- Proven track record in the Ontario water market with established client relationships.
- Experience managing and winning municipal water/wastewater projects.
- Familiarity with business development tools and processes.
