What Will You Do?
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial and residential garage doors, high-speed doors, dock levelers, seals, bumpers, and accessories
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform necessary repairs efficiently
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections on dock and door equipment
- Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, repairs, and recommendations
- Complete work orders, service reports, and other documentation accurately
- Ensure compliance with company safety protocols and industry regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and job site
- Work independently and as part of a team in a variety of commercial settings
What Do You Bring?
- 2 or more years of experience in commercial and/or garage door installation, service work
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills
- Welding experience is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
- Comfortable using ladders, lifts, and working at heights
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Class 3 license and/or Zoom, Boom Truck License will receive pay premium
- Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physical work including working in refrigerated environments
- Excellent customer service and communication skills. Bilingual (English and French) skills are an asset but not mandatory.
