As the Director of Business Development, you will:
- Set strategic direction and lead the business development and sales team in alignment with organizational goals
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team with clear performance goals and mentorship
- Identify new market opportunities, oversee pipeline development, and drive revenue growth
- Collaborate with marketing to refine and execute targeted outreach and branding strategies
- Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and data tracking in Salesforce
- Represent the company at industry events to build partnerships and promote brand visibility
- Provide detailed opportunity oversight from early engagement to close, including proposal development and pricing
- Manage departmental budgeting and participate in broader organizational planning
- Champion a culture of recognition, inclusion, continuous improvement, and accountability
- Proven experience in a senior-level business development or sales leadership role
- Strong strategic planning, analytical, and financial acumen
- Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities with a track record of building high-performing teams
- A results-driven mindset with the ability to drive change and scale business operations
- Experience with Salesforce and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong presentation and negotiation abilities
