- Oversee daily operations across fleet, warehouse, and 3PL logistics functions to ensure efficiency, safety, and profitability
- Lead, mentor, and manage operations teams including dispatch, drivers, and logistics staff
- Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with organizational goals and customer expectations
- Monitor KPIs (on-time delivery, asset utilization, cost per mile, dwell time) and drive continuous improvement
- Optimize fleet scheduling and utilization while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
- Manage vendor and carrier relationships, including negotiation of service-level agreements
- Implement and leverage logistics technologies (TMS/WMS) to increase efficiency and reporting accuracy
- Oversee budgets and P&L accountability, ensuring cost control and profitability
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure retention and service excellence
- Lead process improvement and risk management initiatives to reduce costs and enhance service delivery
- 6+ years of progressive leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or 3PL operations with proven P&L accountability
- Strong knowledge of North American transportation modes, regulations, and customer markets
- Strategic, adaptable, and organized leader with a track record of driving operational growth
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with executive presence
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office and logistics systems (TMS/WMS), with strong data-driven decision-making skills
- Demonstrated expertise in time management, prioritization, and creative problem-solving under pressure
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and build long-term customer partnerships
- Willingness to travel (approximately 25%) across Canada and the U.S. to support operations and clients
