4. What Will You Do?
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
  • Ensure compliance with ASPE/IFRS and all regulatory requirements
  • Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
  • Lead the audit process and serve as the main point of contact for external auditors
  • Provide strategic financial insights to the executive team to support business decision-making
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, capital investments, and cost efficiency initiatives
  • Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering professional development
  • Drive process improvements and ERP system optimizations
  • Act as a key business partner across departments, contributing to strategic growth planning
5. What Do You Bring?
  • CPA designation (CA, CMA, CGA or equivalent) is required
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience
  • Proven leadership in a manufacturing, distribution, or construction environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian accounting standards (ASPE or IFRS)
  • Exceptional communication skills — verbal, written, and interpersonal
  • Strong technical proficiency with financial systems and Microsoft Excel
  • A collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Comfortable working on-site, 5 days a week in a leadership role
