- Oversee all accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
- Ensure compliance with ASPE/IFRS and all regulatory requirements
- Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements
- Lead the audit process and serve as the main point of contact for external auditors
- Provide strategic financial insights to the executive team to support business decision-making
- Monitor and manage cash flow, capital investments, and cost efficiency initiatives
- Supervise and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering professional development
- Drive process improvements and ERP system optimizations
- Act as a key business partner across departments, contributing to strategic growth planning
- CPA designation (CA, CMA, CGA or equivalent) is required
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience
- Proven leadership in a manufacturing, distribution, or construction environment
- In-depth knowledge of Canadian accounting standards (ASPE or IFRS)
- Exceptional communication skills — verbal, written, and interpersonal
- Strong technical proficiency with financial systems and Microsoft Excel
- A collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Comfortable working on-site, 5 days a week in a leadership role
