- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner to leaders across multiple functions and regions
- Provide guidance and support on employee relations, performance management, talent development, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning
- Coach leaders through complex employee matters while ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance
- Partner with leadership teams to develop and implement people strategies aligned with business objectives
- Support employee engagement, retention, succession planning, and talent management initiatives
- Lead and support change management efforts related to organizational growth and transformation
- Provide guidance to leaders on employment standards, human rights legislation, workplace policies, and HR best practices across multiple Canadian provinces
- Partner with business leaders to ensure compliance with federal and provincial employment legislation while mitigating organizational risk
- Conduct investigations and support resolution of employee relations matters
- Analyze HR metrics and workforce trends to identify opportunities and provide data-driven recommendations
- Support recruitment and onboarding initiatives as required
- Develop and deliver HR communications, training, and resources in both English and French
- Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the employee experience
- Champion diversity, equity, inclusion, employee wellbeing, and organizational culture initiatives
- Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written) is required
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including experience in an HR Business Partner or similar advisory role
- Experience supporting leaders across multiple business functions in a complex, fast-paced environment
- Strong employee relations experience, including investigations, conflict resolution, performance management, and workplace accommodations
- Comprehensive knowledge of employment standards, human rights, and workplace legislation across multiple Canadian jurisdictions, with the ability to advise leaders on province-specific requirements
- Experience supporting a geographically dispersed workforce across Canada an asset
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply employment legislation, HR policies, and regulatory requirements in a national organization
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategies with organizational goals
- Proven ability to influence, coach, and build strong relationships with leaders at all levels
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience supporting organizational change, growth, and transformation initiatives
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- CHRP or CHRL designation is preferred
- Experience with HRIS platforms, workforce analytics, and HR reporting tools is considered an asset
- Previous experience within healthcare, specialty healthcare, patient support services, pharmacy, or another regulated industry is considered a strong asset
