- Help oversee day-to-day operations in the branch, leading a team of Logistics Coordinators and administrative staff.
- Delegate tasks to appropriate team members and stepping in as needed with carrier and/or customer escalations.
- Establish and implement SOPs for the team to streamline and optimize workflow in the logistics department.
- Collaborate with other departments to maximize pricing strategies to win new business and maintain existing customer accounts.
- Act as a layer between sales and operational departments, bridging the gap as needed.
- Help train and develop operational staff on a continuous basis.
- Other tasks as needed.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and attitude, strong business sense and acumen.
- High level of organization.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure in stressful situations.
- Natural problem-solver, capable of addressing issues with tact and consideration.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in business administration is preferred.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, CRM, ERP.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills.
