What Will You Do?
As the Operations Manager
, you will oversee all warehouse and operational functions to ensure smooth daily execution and strong team performance. You will lead a small team (3-4 employees, including a Warehouse Manager) while driving efficiency, organization, and process improvement across all operational areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse and operational activities, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional service levels
- Manage and support a team of 3-4 employees, including the Warehouse Manager, order fulfillment staff, and support personnel
- Coordinate receiving of large shipments, ensuring accurate inventory recording and proper storage
- Lead and refine outbound order processes to ensure timely, accurate, and complete deliveries
- Maintain inventory control systems, including cycle counts and stock reconciliation
- Implement and enforce operational standards, safety protocols, and best practices
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse, logistics, and internal systems
- Collaborate with sales leadership to support customer needs and streamline fulfillment
- Monitor KPIs related to productivity, accuracy, cost management, and service performance
- Oversee facility management, equipment maintenance, and overall operational readiness
- Contribute to hiring, training, and performance development of operational staff
- 3–5+ years of experience in operations leadership within warehousing, distribution, logistics, or a related environment
- Proven track record managing staff and building structured, efficient processes
- Strong understanding of warehouse workflows including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Experience handling large shipment deliveries and outbound order fulfillment
- Excellent organizational and planning skills; able to bring structure, accountability, and process improvement
- Comfortable managing inventory systems and operational technology (WMS, ERP, CRM preferred)
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach, train, and motivate team members
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing operation with shifting priorities
- Safety-focused mindset with experience maintaining compliance and workplace standards
