Salary Range:  $75,000-$85,000 + commissions (car allowance, annual bonus)

4. What Will You Do?

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving profitable sales growth. Reporting to the VP of Sales, your responsibilities will include:
  • Generating new business through inbound lead follow-up and outbound prospecting (calls, emails, etc.)
  • Understanding client needs and aligning solutions accordingly
  • Identifying and qualifying sales opportunities for further development and closure
  • Meeting and exceeding quarterly sales targets
  • Conducting market research to identify key players and generate interest
  • Maintaining and expanding a robust pipeline of prospects
  • Collaborating with internal teams and channel partners to close deals
  • Delivering compelling online presentations and demos
  • Supporting the onboarding process for new clients
  • Performing other duties as assigned by leadership
5. What Do You Bring?
  • Proven success in business development within the transportation industry, particularly in truckload (TL) sales and less than truckload (LTL) sales.
  • A consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas
  • Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce.com
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities effectively
  • A collaborative mindset and a drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment
