What Will You Do?
  • Process payroll for multiple business units with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
  • Manage payroll calculations for salaried and hourly employees, including overtime, vacation payouts, benefits, and leaves
  • Review, reconcile, and audit payroll data to resolve discrepancies and ensure legislative compliance
  • Prepare payroll remittances, tax filings, T4/T4A/RL-1 reporting, and related documentation
  • Support internal and external payroll audits
  • Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize payroll systems, including UKG Pro
  • Develop advanced payroll reporting and analytics to support leadership decision-making
  • Lead payroll process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements
  • Act as a subject matter expert for payroll-related inquiries across HR, Finance, and leadership teams
  • Support complex payroll scenarios including retroactive adjustments, taxable benefits, executive compensation, and multi-province payroll processing
  • Participate in payroll-related projects, integrations, and compliance initiatives
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive employee and payroll information
What Do You Bring?
  • 7+ years of payroll experience supporting large employee populations and multi-province payroll environments
  • PCP designation required; CPM designation considered a strong asset
  • Strong experience with payroll systems such as UKG Pro
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros
  • Deep understanding of Canadian payroll legislation, tax regulations, and benefits administration
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience leading projects and driving process improvements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment
