As the Pharmacy Manager, you will lead the daily operations of a specialized pharmacy location, working as part of a national healthcare organization focused on the distribution and provision of complex drug therapies. You will drive business growth, ensure operational excellence, and build strong community relationships while fostering a high-performance team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and development for pharmacy staff
- Drive financial performance, manage budgets, and implement growth initiatives
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, service quality, and compliance
- Build strong partnerships with healthcare providers, prescribers, and stakeholders
- Identify new business opportunities and promote community outreach
- Ensure regulatory compliance and foster a culture of safety and quality
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align with organizational goals
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing the pharmacy within the local market
- Licensed Pharmacist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body
- 5-7 years of progressive pharmacy management experience; multi-site or regional oversight is an asset
- Specialty pharmacy experience is considered a strong advantage
- Proven success in financial management, business development, and operational leadership
- Strong ability to lead, mentor, and build collaborative teams
- Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a results-oriented approach
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills
- Analytical ability to interpret data and drive performance improvements
- Proficiency with digital tools, including MS Excel, Outlook, and Word
