We are proud to support our client in hiring a Project Development Administrator to join their growing team in Whitby.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, coordinating multiple priorities, and supporting a busy Sales team. You will work behind the scenes to help the team stay organized, analyze territory and sales information, manage incoming leads, coordinate training activities, and support upcoming projects, bids, and tenders.
This is not a direct sales role. It is an operational and analytical support position that plays an important part in helping the Sales team work efficiently and pursue new business opportunities.
We are open to candidates with previous sales administration, project coordination, or business support experience, as well as junior candidates and recent graduates who bring strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

- Prepare monthly reports and analysis for the Sales team using Microsoft Excel
- Work with sales and territory data using PivotTables, filters, formulas, sorting, and other Excel functions
- Assist with territory analysis and reporting to support sales planning and decision-making
- Monitor incoming leads from the company website and other lead-generation sources and distribute them to the appropriate territories
- Maintain accurate records of leads and related sales activities
- Assist with gathering pre-qualification information and documentation for upcoming projects, bids, and tenders
- Coordinate information across internal teams to ensure documentation and project requirements are completed on time
- Support the coordination of sales training programs, including schedules, timelines, field rides, participants, and logistics
- Assist with quotes, sales documentation, and other administrative requirements
- Support ad hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects
- Help identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, and overall Sales team efficiency
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, filters, formulas, sorting, and working with data
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfort working with numbers, reports, and data
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A proactive, resourceful, and team-oriented approach
- Ability to learn new systems, processes, and business concepts quickly
- Previous experience in sales administration, project coordination, sales operations, business administration, or a similar role is an asset, but not required
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Business Analytics, Project Management, or a related field is an asset
Please note that this is a fully in-office position. Candidates must be able to commute to the Whitby office five days per week.
