We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead our regional sales operations in the BC market. This leadership role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong background in sales management, team development, and operational execution. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing a high-performing sales team, and ensuring business objectives are met or exceeded.

What will you do?
  • Lead regional sales operations as a profit center, including the development of sales forecasts and annual operating budgets
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management to sales teams to ensure achievement of targets
  • Develop and implement sales strategies based on market trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs
  • Monitor business performance and take proactive steps to address shortfalls and capitalize on growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with product/category managers to tailor sales approaches by segment or territory
  • Design and support local promotional or incentive programs in partnership with suppliers and partners
  • Partner with internal departments (e.g., operations, HR) to support staffing, training, and team development initiatives
  • Serve as a key point of contact for major clients and strategic accounts
  • Make decisions on local inventory needs in collaboration with operations and supply chain teams.
  • Regularly report on key performance metrics, financial results, and market activity to senior leadership
  • Represent the organization at industry events and maintain a pulse on competitive and market developments
  • Promote a strong culture of fairness, integrity, and collaboration across all team and customer interactions
   
What are we looking for?
  • Post-secondary education in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales management or leadership capacity in the print, packaging or related sectors
  • Strong business acumen in budgeting, forecasting, and financial oversight
  • Proven success in developing and executing sales strategies in a dynamic, competitive market
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • Organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
